Swipe the rope to drop him
Choose your bet and tap CUT. The mole drops from his rope into the mine shaft and falls all the way down, bouncing off rock, timber and machinery. Everything he touches on the way is his. Your win is the total of what he collects, paid when he comes to rest at the bottom.
| Prize | Adds to your win |
|---|---|
| Coal | 0.2× bet |
| Copper nugget | 0.4× bet |
| Silver nugget | 1× bet |
| Gold nugget | 2× bet |
| Emerald | 3× bet |
| Amethyst | 5× bet |
| Ruby | 10× bet |
| Diamond | 25× bet |
| Star crystal | 50× bet |
| Core diamond | 100× bet |
Prizes are collected the moment the mole touches them. The deeper he falls, the richer the mine gets. When he reaches the deep band he earns a one-time deep bonus of 0.5× bet.
When the mole hits a TNT keg, its fuse fizzes for a moment and then it blows: everything nearby is flung outwards, the mole included, and the keg bursts into a shower of coins and gems. They arc out, bounce and land for him to collect on his way down. Kegs set close together can set each other off.
Land on the greased ramp and the mole slides into the lift bucket, which lowers him deep into the mine. Anything he or the bucket touches on the way down is collected. At the bottom the floor of the bucket drops open and he rolls back out into the shaft. Which way he rolls is random.
Lamps swing when hit and knock him away. Spinning wheels fling him. He falls straight through hessian cloths, which slow him a little and turn him sideways.
Gas vents in the walls hiss, glow, then fire a jet. If the mole is caught in a jet, the dig ends and that round pays nothing. Vents are busier the deeper you go.
| Mode | Cost | What changes |
|---|---|---|
| Base | 1× bet | Gas vents are active |
| Gas Mask | 5× bet | No gas: the mole always reaches the bottom |
There are four fixed jackpots: MINI MINOR MAJOR GRAND. Their amounts never change and are shown above the mine map.
| Jackpot | Prize |
|---|---|
| MINI | $10 |
| MINOR | $40 |
| MAJOR | $1,000 |
| GRAND | $2,500 |
TODO [confirm]: amounts per currency.
At the bottom of the mine a train of carts rolls along the track, and every cart pays. Ore carts add their plaque to your win (+1x, +2x, +3x or +5x your bet). Multiplier carts multiply everything he dug on the way down (x2, x3 or x5), and always add at least 1x your bet. Now and then a jackpot cart rolls in: if the mole lands in it, you win that jackpot on top of everything he collected.
Your bet sets your chances, not the prize. Every bet at every stake can win every jackpot, and the prize is always the full fixed amount. The bigger your bet, the more often a jackpot cart rolls in: the chance is in direct proportion to your stake, so doubling your bet doubles the chance of each jackpot appearing. Once a jackpot cart is in the train, whether the mole lands in it is down to the drop itself, at every stake. Because the chance is in proportion to the stake, the theoretical return to player is the same at every stake.
TODO [confirm]: bet scaling as described above.
The maximum win is 10,000× your bet per round from the dig. Jackpots are paid on top of this. TODO [confirm]: jackpots outside the dig cap.
Wins are shown in the WIN box and added to your balance when the round ends.
The theoretical return to player is 96%: 94% from the base game and 2% from the jackpots. TODO [solve]: confirm per mode from the solved model.
TODO [confirm]: pot type (per operator or shared network).
Every round’s result is decided by the game server before the drop is shown. What you see on screen is a replay of that result. Malfunction voids all pays and plays.
